Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced
Phlebotomists
to join a leading hospital in New York, NY. The ideal candidates will have strong experience in hospital or lab settings and demonstrate excellent patient care and specimen collection skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and specimen collection accurately and efficiently
Handle, label, and process blood samples following proper protocols
Ensure patient identification and safety procedures are strictly followed
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Work collaboratively with clinical and laboratory teams
Adhere to infection control and safety standards
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in:
Hospital
Commercial Lab
Blood Bank
Completion of a Phlebotomy Program
Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) – Required
AHA BLS Certification – Required
High School Diploma or GED
Schedule Requirements:
Monday – Friday with rotating weekends (every other weekend)
No RTO allowed during the assignment
