Job Description
Contract Paralegal
Responsibilities
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and other agreements.
Interpret and analyze laws, regulations, and legal documents.
Conduct research on relevant legal topics.
Organize and manage legal documents and files.
Prepare and maintain legal records.
Communicate with clients, attorneys and corporate professionals when needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Provide guidance on legal matters.
Manage all assigned cases, including non-immigrant visas such as L-1A, L-1B, E-2, H-1B, TN, J-1, O-1, RFEs/NOIDs/Audits; and immigrant visas such as EB1, EB2, EB3 and EB5.
Qualifications
Familiarity with contract law
Knowledge of contract preparation, negotiation, and review
Understanding of contract lifecycle
Ability to interpret complex legal documents
Proficiency in drafting, editing, and formatting contracts
Ability to research legal issues and provide solutions
Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and other document management software
Adherence to compliance and confidentiality regulations
English/Spanish proficiency
Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field preferred; a combination of education and experience may be required.
