Candidates must be admitted to the California Bar and have civil litigation experience. Experience in real estate, construction, landlord/tenant, commercial lease, unlawful detainer, or business litigation is strongly preferred.

Job Description
Represent clients in civil litigation matters involving real estate, construction, landlord/tenant, business, and commercial disputes
Handle law and motion practice, pleadings, discovery, court appearances, hearings, and settlement negotiations
Draft and respond to complaints, motions, discovery requests, correspondence, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents
Analyze case strategy, evaluate risk, and help move matters toward practical resolution
Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members
Support matters involving commercial lease defaults, possession actions, construction claims, contract disputes, real estate misrepresentation claims, and property‑related conflicts
Manage deadlines, case calendars, filings, and litigation tasks with strong attention to detail
Take increasing ownership of cases based on experience level
Qualifications
California Bar admission required
2+ years of civil litigation experience preferred for junior-level candidates
5+ years of civil litigation experience preferred for senior-level candidates
Experience with California civil procedure strongly preferred
Real estate, construction, landlord/tenant, unlawful detainer, commercial lease, or business litigation experience preferred
Strong legal research, legal writing, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Comfortable appearing in court and communicating with clients
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines
Real estate broker license is a plus, but not required
