
Senior Corporate Recruiter

We’re hiring a Senior Corporate Recruiter to own and drive hiring for our Austin/Pflugerville operations. This role is responsible for delivering results across both high-volume hourly hiring and key salaried positions.
You won’t just support recruiting efforts, you’ll run them. You’ll build pipeline, partner directly with hiring managers, and be accountable for hiring outcomes in one of our most active markets. You’ll have the support of a Recruiting Coordinator who handles scheduling, candidate communication, and pre-employment steps so you can stay focused on sourcing, interviewing, and closing.
This is a fully on‑site position based in Pflugerville, TX.
Core Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruiting across hourly and salaried roles, from intake through offer acceptance and onboarding
Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, timelines, and candidate profiles
Build and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach
Proactively source candidates using Boolean search and advanced sourcing techniques; this is not a post-and-wait role
Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and company standards
Manage the offer process, including verbal offers and negotiation when appropriate
Oversee all pre-employment steps, including background checks, employment verification, testing, and drug screening, in compliance with company policy and applicable laws
Ensure onboarding and orientation processes are executed effectively and continuously improved
Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party vendors, including staffing agencies and advertising partners
Track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics, pipeline health, and hiring trends; adjust strategies as needed
Conduct exit interviews, identify trends, and provide feedback to support retention and recruiting effectiveness
Maintain current knowledge of recruiting tools, market trends, and best practices to continuously improve performance
Leadership & Impact
May supervise Recruiters and/or Recruiting Coordinators
Provide guidance, set expectations, and ensure consistent execution of recruiting processes
Support training and development of team members
Partner with corporate recruiting leadership to align on strategy and priorities

Reducing time-to-fill while maintaining candidate quality
Building effective relationships with hiring managers and leadership

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate recruiting
Experience recruiting in construction, electrical, or skilled trades environments strongly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and compliant hiring practices
Experience working within an ATS or CRM system
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to influence hiring decisions
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment and requires regular use of standard office equipment. The role may also involve time on active project sites, interacting with employees, subcontractors, and trades.
While primarily sedentary, the position may require standing, walking, reaching, and handling materials up to 25 pounds. Occasional filing and movement throughout the day is expected. The ability to operate a vehicle may be required.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Schedule & Travel
