
Paint Assistant - 3rd Shift

With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub‑assembly.
Position Summary: Responsible for assisting in painting operations by preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
Responsibilities
Clean, sand, and mask aerospace components to prepare them for painting.
Assist in mixing paints and coatings according to specified formulas and instructions.
Maintain painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of painting processes, including materials used and time spent on each task.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in paint a plus, preferably in the aerospace industry.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
Export Compliance Requirement
This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Citizen”.
