Configuration Management Analyst I
to join our team in support of a Rapid Acquisition Weapon System Program. Our Configuration Management (CM) Analysts interface with other engineering functional areas (i.e. Software Developers, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Test, and Safety) providing configuration management support across multiple projects. This position will be located in
Dahlgren, VA .

Responsibilities
Collaborating with BMS Software CM Lead to ensure rigorous tracking of software versioning
Scheduling, facilitating, and documenting Control Board meetings and ticket adjudications
Processing data deliveries and distributing them to stakeholdersApplying knowledge of CM best practices to ensure all BMS software builds are conducted in accordance with documented procedures
Preparing, posting, and tracking software file deliveries and associated documentation via various delivery methods
Participating in continued BMS process improvement meetings including but not limited to software development, CM, and BMS Configuration Control Boards
Participating in CM review and quality control of BMS documentation
Adapting to changing technologies, processes, and organization requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline or direct hands‑on configuration management experience
Four (4) years of full‑time professional experience working in Configuration Management (CM) including experience in Configuration Management of modern DoD systems
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in configuration management support
One (1) year of demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Familiarity with software development requirements and practices
Demonstrated experience related to weapons systems and/or Navy programs
Demonstrated knowledge of CM Industry Standards and Military Standards
One (1) year of demonstrable experience with systems engineering and work management tools such as Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), Atlassian Jira, and/or SolidWorks Enterprise Product Data Management (PDM)
Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and with others to meet established goals and program schedules
Ability to write clear, logically sequenced and grammatically correct documents
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in compiling software builds
