Overview
SCCI is seeking a
Senior Systems Trainer
to join our team in support of our Weapons Control Support Services program! The successful candidate will be a key member of a high-performing DoD Weapons team. This position is available for immediate hire and located in
Dahlgren, VA .

Responsibilities
Provide MK 160 product development and fielding support to the Capability Leads, software development team, Configuration Management team, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) team and other internal functional groups as well as external groups
Lead and conduct (as required) Integration Testing and Training at NSWCDD, Combat System Test Sites and shipboard platforms USN Baselines 5/7/9/10, Littoral Combat Ship (LCS)/Guided Missile Frigate (FFG), Unties States Coast Guard (USCG), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) platforms
Identify data to be collected from test activities to evaluate the capabilities and performance of newly developed MK 160 products
Perform analysis of data collected during test activities to identify issues and/or areas for improvement
Interact with Naval Units and other services to evaluate and resolve MK 160 problems
Write, review and update test plans, test/data analysis reports, software requirements, work specifications, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and other technical documents
Participate in technical meetings such as design reviews, technical interchange meetings, etc.
Other System Engineering tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an
active Secret Security Clearance
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in an engineering, scientific, technical discipline or equivalent experience
Five (5) years of specialized experience developing training plans for weapon systems for air or surface platforms
Experience working closely with government personnel to create supporting training documentation and curriculum which captures the system's attributes
Demonstrated ability to teach weapon systems to military operators, military training personnel, and military and Contractor support organizations
