What You Will Do
Under general direction, manage the Branch delivery teams that include the Controls, Equipment and Mechanical Installation teams. Assist management in revenue forecasting, billings, collections and resource planning. Assign projects and ensure appropriate engineering, commissioning and mechanical resources are assigned. Ensure work performed is compliant with state, local, federal and legal requirements and operates with the highest ethics. Ensure staff adheres to all safety standards. Develop and build contractor, customer, consultant and subcontractor relationships in the community.

How You Will Do It

Manage overall execution and performance of assigned Controls and Mechanical Installation delivery teams. Ensure Branch goals and objectives are met and aligned with Senior Installation Manager’s priorities, including SINC, cash flow, reducing equipment/project slippage, backlog growth, SG&A and productivity improvements.

Establish goals and development plans for all direct reports. Evaluate employee performance and perform salary management. Drive asset management including cost control, billings, collections and payables.

Recruit Project Team Leaders, System Team Leaders, Lead Systems Specialists, Project Engineers and Equipment System Application Engineers with the required skills and competencies to meet Branch needs.

Ensure that estimating and engineering standards are utilized effectively.

Follow up on customer satisfaction issues and drive resolution. Provide leadership by demonstrating focus on customer satisfaction.

Assist the Senior Installation Manager in preparing annual strategic and financial operating plan.

Develop and build contractor, customer, consultant and subcontractor relationships in the community.

Assist Project Team Leaders, System Team Leaders, Sales, Project Engineers, Lead Systems Specialists and Equipment System Application Engineers in reviewing and interpreting contract terms and conditions.

Manage scheduling of installation projects and equipment backlog, including scheduling of wanted dates and ship dates.

Coach teams on managing project risks, conflict resolution and establishing project recovery plans.

Promote the securing of change orders.

Ensure compliance with the Safety Program for employees and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with state, local and federal legal requirements and conduct installation business with the highest ethical standards.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture or equivalent experience.

Minimum of seven or more years of progressively more responsible project leadership experience in the Building Construction Industry.

High‑level competence in written and verbal communication.

Ability to travel based upon geographical locations of assigned teams.

Preferred

Experience with MS Project and MS Tools.

Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict issues.

HIRING SALARY RANGE
$100,000–$150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and market data). This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
