Position Summary
Hidden Talent is recruiting a full-time, on-site Interior Designer on behalf of Work Architecture in Louisville, KY. This role is ideal for someone who blends creativity with technical execution and can contribute quickly across multiple projects.
The Interior Designer will support space planning, interior design concepts, finish selections, FF&E, construction drawings, and client collaboration. This person should be comfortable balancing creative design with real-world project requirements, schedules, and budgets.
Responsibilities
Develop interior design concepts, finish palettes, and presentation materials
Assist with space planning, programming, and furniture selections
Produce and review construction drawings and documentation
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors
Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project walkthroughs
Support projects through all phases of design and construction administration
Ensure designs align with building codes, project goals, and budget requirements
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization
Contribute proactively to the team and help support project deadlines
Qualifications
3–5 years of interior design experience within an architecture or design firm
Hospitality experience strongly preferred
Exposure to adaptive reuse, multi-family, mixed-use, or commercial projects preferred
Strong Revit skills required
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with construction documents and specifications
Understanding of building codes and industry standards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Project management experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field required
NCIDQ certification, licensure, or ability to obtain preferred

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $65,000–$85,000 depending on experience and licensure
