Financial Analyst II – Overview
A growing consumer products organization is seeking a
Financial Analyst II
to support FP&A activities across the business. This role will partner closely with cross‑functional teams‑including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain—to deliver financial insights that drive decision‑making, improve performance, and support long‑term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning processes.
Build and maintain financial models to analyze revenue, margin, cost drivers, and profitability by product, channel, and customer.
Prepare and deliver management reporting, dashboards, and variance analyses for senior leadership.
Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities within P&L, working capital, and cash flow.
Partner with business stakeholders on pricing, promotions, trade spend, and new product initiatives.
Support operational and supply‑chain analysis, including inventory, COGS, and productivity metrics.
Assist with ad‑hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and executive decision‑making.
Continuously improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and data integrity.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2‑4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
Experience within consumer products / CPG / retail / manufacturing strongly preferred.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems, BI tools, or financial planning software a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Clear communicator comfortable partnering with non‑finance stakeholders.
