Sales Operations Representative

Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Sales Operations Representative will assist in overall sales, operational account responsibilities and processes for Kingston’s channel business. This role will maximize the customer experience through exceptional service and support and develop strong long-term relationships with all our business partners and customers. Salary $79,730k-$93,800k.

Essential Functions

Interfaces internal and external teams pertaining to Kingston DRAM and Flash channel products. This includes processing purchase orders, setting up sample requests, providing pricing and availability, part number set up and releases, requesting backorder releases, reviewing and processing RMAs and shipping discrepancies, preparing and distributing price change notifications.

Assists in answering incoming calls and electronic mail from channel partners and customers (direct and indirect) in a timely and professional manner.

Works with Account Managers and Business Unit teams to ensure customer inventory levels will meet channel demand plans, seasonal promotion calendars, and market conditions.

Assists in communicating all account issues and market opportunities to appropriate internal teams (Sales, Order Entry/Shipping, Business Management, Engineering).

Always provides excellent customer service and support.

Builds and maintains strong relationships with key partner and customer contacts.

Follows up on embedded opportunities and inputs detailed updates into the appropriate database.

Attends and participates in weekly, monthly, and quarterly channel meetings (opportunity reviews, forecasting status meetings, product updates).

Provides back-up support for channel sales team members as needed.

Continuously educates yourself on products, technologies, and market trends pertaining to Kingston products.

Familiarity with computer industry practices and standards

Understanding of and experience with distribution and channel sales

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or related field and/or equivalent education or experience.

1-3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably involving technology sales and support.
