Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Veterinary Technician to support our veterinarians in delivering exceptional care. This role combines technical expertise, compassion for animals, and effective communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

Patient Care:

Administer medications, vaccines, assist in surgeries, and provide post-operative support. Ensure all treatments are documented and invoiced for doctor approval.

Diagnostic Support:

Conduct laboratory tests, operate diagnostic equipment, and assist in interpreting results.

Client Communication:

Educate pet owners on treatments, behaviors, and care instructions; manage medical records.

Administrative Duties:

Schedule appointments, manage inventory, and handle billing and insurance processing.

Facility Maintenance:

Ensure cleanliness, implement safety protocols, perform equipment maintenance as required, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology preferred.

Experience: Prior experience as a Veterinary Technician is required.

Skills: Proficient in medical procedures, strong communication, knowledge of animal health and veterinary practices.

Attributes: Professionalism, compassion, physical ability to handle animals, and a team-oriented mindset.

Salary: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
