Responsibilities
The role of the Physical Therapist is to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient/family physical therapy needs for patients ranging from neonate/infant (birth to 1 year) through geriatric (over 65 years). The PT will maintain documentation on patient treatments, evaluate findings, and implement treatment plans accordingly. The role includes addressing educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers, managing patient care assignments, handling organizational tasks related to patient and departmental operations, acting in a clinical leadership role, and applying knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions.
