A highly regarded, full-service law firm is seeking a Health Care Associate to join its Health Care Practice Group in Denver, Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on regulatory and compliance matters within a collaborative, team-oriented environment, with direct client interaction and meaningful responsibility.
The successful candidate will focus on a broad range of health care regulatory and compliance issues, including fraud and abuse matters, licensure compliance, government investigations, payor enrollment, and state and federal privacy laws. The role also involves advising on Medicare and Medicaid frameworks, as well as handling claim coding and reimbursement-related issues.
Qualifications
3 plus years of experience in healthcare regulatory and compliance law.
Strong background in fraud and abuse, licensure compliance, and government investigations.
Experience with Medicare and Medicaid frameworks, payor enrollment, and privacy laws (state and federal).
Familiarity with claim coding and reimbursement issues preferred.
