Position Description
Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching. Staff Pharmacist fills orders for medications, monitors patient drug therapies and provides drug information. Staff pharmacist supervises and directs supportive staff. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

Minimum one year previous experience required. One to three years hospital experience preferred. Pyxis experience with knowledge of Pyxis reports.

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.

Current Pharmacist licensure in the State of California.

CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
