Three-story, 54,000-square-foot medical office building at 700 Buckwalter Towne Blvd will consolidate existing services in the Bluffton area into one location and provide new specialties for the community. 15 infusion chairs and 17 clinic rooms for appointments.

Position Overview
The Infusion Nurse reports to the Unit Manager. Under general supervision, the Infusion Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other health care team members to achieve desired outcomes.
Sign-On Bonus
$4,000 sign-on bonus for ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certified Nurses & OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse).

The ONS Certification must be obtained prior to signing offer letter.
Minimum Education
Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred. RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013, with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two years and successfully obtain a BSN degree within four years of the RN hire or reclassification date. A minimum of two years of RN experience required.
Additional Minimum Requirements
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Current Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification issued by Oncology Nursing Society required if independently double-checking chemotherapy.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, and working indoors. Ability to work outside in temperature extremes (infrequent), work from elevated areas, confined spaces, kneeling, bending at waist, twisting at waist, squatting, and performing "pinching" operations. Must be able to perform gross and fine motor activities with fingers and hands, reach overhead, perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (Infrequent for lifting 100 lb patient). Good vision, hearing, and ability to perform under stressful situations. Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and in a latex‑safe environment.
