Phlebotomist w/Testing – PAML
Location: Kennewick, WA
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday 11:00am – 8:00pm; additional hours and rotating Saturday’s as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Qualified to perform moderate complexity testing as defined by CLIA
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Washington State–issued Phlebotomy License
Preferred Qualifications
1 or more years of phlebotomy experience
1 or more years of lab experience
Additional Job Standards
In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at the time of hire may meet license requirement.
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Pay Range
$19.75 – $27.69
Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program
PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
