Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) jobs in Bakersfield, CA offer a 13‑week assignment with 8‑hour day shifts in a skilled nursing setting. You will assess, diagnose, and treat adults and seniors with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.
Your responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, implementing therapeutic activities, educating patients and families on coping strategies and assistive devices, and supporting residents in regaining or maintaining daily living skills and autonomy.
To qualify, you need a master’s degree in occupational therapy, national certification, and state licensure. Experience in skilled nursing is recommended, along with strong communication, empathy, and problem‑solving skills.

SNF experience
Active state license
12/11 start date
