Key Responsibilities (Specific To The Technician Role)
Surgical preparation, monitoring, and recovery
Anesthesia induction and maintenance
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
Performing dental prophylaxis, charting, and radiographs
Phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and laboratory sample processing
Collecting and analyzing diagnostic samples (e.g., cytology, urinalysis)
Providing compassionate patient nursing care and pain management
Educating clients on pet health, post‑operative care, and preventative medicine
Accurate medical record keeping
Qualifications
Certified Veterinary Technician or experienced technician who is committed to a high standard of medical care.
