Assignment Overview
Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs
Hours: 36 hrs/wk

Responsibilities
Provide routine and complex nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Provide patient and family education, identifying needs and available resources.
Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days and complete both organizational and ED-specific competency validations with a designated preceptor.
Qualifications
Active RN license in NM or through a compact state.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department setting, with most recent experience at a Level 1, 2, or 3 trauma center within the past year.
BSN preferred.
Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted on this position.
Two professional references are required for consideration.
US Social Security Number is required for consideration.
