American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP position in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with fetal heart monitoring proficiency.
Details
Full-scope LDRP unit managing OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care
Fetal surveillance is performed using OBIX; experience with this system is highly preferred
Epic is used as the EHR; experience is highly preferred
This unit does not perform OR circulating or scrubbing responsibilities
Requirements
Active Oregon RN license required (need not be active at time of consideration, but candidate must be willing to obtain prior to start)
Current BLS certification (AHA) required
Current NRP certification required
EFM and STABLE certifications highly preferred
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with current fetal heart monitoring experience required
OBIX and Epic experience highly preferred
Current resume and skills checklist (completed within the last year) required for consideration
Additional Information
Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to patient care within the Oregon State Board of Nursing RN scope of practice
Patient and family education is an expected component of the role
Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care and documents care in the medical record
No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
