Specialized Experience
One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Advising Supervisors, Managers or Senior Officials on Equal Employment Opportunity laws, regulations, and policies; 2) Processing formal complaints of discrimination in accordance with EEO regulations; 3) Providing, maintaining, and analyzing EEO statistical data on matters affecting women and minority groups; 4) Developing, implementing or promoting EEO programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS‑12).
Time in Grade Requirement
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS‑12).
