Construction Management Intern
This position is based out of our Minneapolis, MN office.
Responsibilities
Our summer internship program allows you to learn more about the electrical construction industry and our business before beginning your career after graduation. As an intern, you will gain hands‑on experience in analyzing project requirements and supporting service installation and service initiatives.
Assist with quantity takeoffs and material cost calculations for various construction projects.
Assist in reviewing project plans, specifications, and documentation to prepare cost estimates.
Collaborate with project teams to gather data and validate assumptions.
Assist in researching vendor pricing and maintain up-to-date cost databases.
Assist in bid preparations and pre‑construction planning meetings.
Qualifications
Must currently be enrolled in a degree or certificate program in Construction Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong problem‑solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Pay Range
$22.00 or $24.00 per hour, based on college/grade level.
