Overview
Potomac Valley Surveys
is a licensed land surveying and site planning firm, located in Poolesville, Maryland serving property owners, developers, and municipalities. We're looking for an experienced Survey Technician to join our team with survey preparation and drafting.
Responsibilities
Prepare and draft boundary surveys, topographic surveys, record plats, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
Process and draw water and sewer as-builts from field data
Research deeds, plats, and public land records to support survey preparation
Reduce field data and translate it into accurate, complete survey drawings
Coordinate with Licensed Professional Surveyors to ensure quality and accuracy
Qualifications
2+ years of survey drafting or technician experience in an office setting
Proficiency in Carlson Survey or similar CAD platform
Familiarity with Maryland land records and plat research a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
CST III, LSIT or progress toward licensure preferred but not required
