Position Overview
In the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Saint Mary’s Hospital, the Clerical Coordinator serves by managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient care, and ensuring communication among healthcare providers on the unit.

Responsibilities
Handle clerical duties such as answering phone calls, managing patient records, and scheduling appointments; ensure patient files are accurate and up-to-date.
Greet patients and visitors, assist with admissions and discharges, and address inquiries, directing them to appropriate professionals.
Serve as communication link between patients, nurses, doctors, and other departments, relaying important information.
Monitor and order medical supplies as needed, maintaining organized inventory.
Qualifications
High School or equivalency certificate required.
Preferred: experience as Clerical Coordinator or Unit Secretary in an Acute Inpatient setting.
Position Highlights & Benefits
Part‑time: 24 hrs. per week, 8‑hour shift, 3 pm to 11:30 pm.
Rotating weekends and holidays required.
