Job Description

We are seeking a

Purchasing Agent

with a strong background in the

electrical wholesale industry

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing inventory procurement, vendor relationships, and purchase order administration.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong, positive working relationships with domestic and international vendors.
Analyze purchase requisitions from the warehouse team and place timely orders.
Track supply inventory levels and determine purchasing needs based on quarterly and annual trends.
Negotiate pricing and delivery terms to ensure timely arrival of materials for smooth production operations.
Collaborate with the warehouse team on inventory management.
Monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays.
Manage the accounts payable process, including PO closure, invoice matching, and payment processing.
Handle product rejections and discrepancies with vendors.
Perform general purchasing administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications

Prior experience in the

electrical wholesale industry

is

mandatory .
Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
Dependable, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing business needs.
Preferred Skills

Experience managing inventory purchasing.
Knowledge of wholesale electrical distribution and familiarity with key industry manufacturers.
Working knowledge of

Epicor Solar Eclipse

software is a significant plus.
