Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support a high-volume payroll environment serving both union and non-union employee populations. This temporary role supports payroll operations under the direction of payroll leadership and plays a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing.
The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise with

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll , strong working knowledge of

UKG Time & Attendance (Kronos) , and advanced Excel capabilities to support audits, reconciliations, reporting, and issue resolution.
What You\'ll Be Doing

Payroll Processing & Operations
Execute payroll transactions for hourly and salaried employees
Review time records, pay changes, earnings, and deductions for accuracy
Support regular, off-cycle, and manual payroll runs
Assist with overtime calculations, premiums, differentials, and union pay rules
Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure payroll practices comply with federal, state, and local wage regulations
Apply collective bargaining agreement provisions with guidance from payroll leadership
Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and correction of discrepancies
Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation
Systems, Reporting & Analysis
Process and manage payroll data within SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll
Validate payroll and timekeeping data between integrated systems (UKG/Kronos)
Generate and review payroll reports, identifying and escalating variances
Use Excel to perform lookups, validations, reconciliations, and payroll analyses
Collaboration & Support
Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll inquiries and data issues
Provide responsive support to employees regarding payroll questions
Participate in system testing and continuous process improvement efforts
Support payroll reporting requests and operational needs as assigned
Perform additional duties as needed in support of payroll and HR operations
Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
3-5 years of payroll experience, including union payroll exposure
Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (required)
Experience supporting both union and non-union payroll populations
Strong understanding of wage and hour laws and payroll compliance
Hands-on experience with UKG Time & Attendance (Kronos) (required)
Experience with paycards or compliance automation tools is a plus
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations)
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
