
Talent Acquisition Specialist

Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist performs highly technical recruiting and sourcing duties for ReCon and its clients, including using online recruiting sources to identify and recruit talent, scheduling interviews with clients, onboarding new employees, and collaborating with the HR Manager and Supervisor to develop effective recruiting strategies.
Duties
Leverages networking and online recruiting resources (social networks, professional organizations, trade groups) and uses applicant tracking system to identify and recruit the best candidates.
Attracts, interviews, and qualifies applicants for all open positions, including coordinating presence at job fairs.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Completes a preliminary interview of candidates, which could include the use of face‑to‑face behavioral‑based interviewing methodologies.
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates, including scheduling and logistics of interviews.
Maintains accurate and well‑ordered documentation on all candidates and recruiting activities to ensure compliance and thorough audit.
Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the positions, including job descriptions and departmental information.
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Coordinates the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in the employment lifecycle recruiting process.
Creates procedures/training videos for HR Department, applicants, and employees.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to remain competitive in cutting‑edge recruiting practices.
Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field preferred with at least three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties.
License Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License as per state law or requirement. Preferred SHRM‑CP certification.
