Overview

Our rapidly-expanding insurance agency is looking for part-time and full-time life insurance agents to join our team. You’ll grow a list of prospective clients, market our insurance products, showcase our offerings to new customers, and help policyholders navigate the claims process. We’ll provide the support network and resources to help you reach — and exceed — your sales goals. Responsibilities

Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business
Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risk, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers, ensuring a personalized experience
Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies
Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims
Manage electronic and paper records and ensure all contracting paperwork is kept current
Must already have or be willing to obtain a life insurance license
Conduct client consultations to understand financial goals and insurance needs
Present life insurance solutions in a clear and professional manner
Assist clients with completing applications and navigating underwriting requirements
Provide customer service support for existing policyholders
Help clients during the claims process when needed
Maintain organized electronic and paper records for compliance and servicing
Prospecting and lead generation through networking, referrals, social media, and outreach
Qualifications

Skilled with Microsoft Office
Client service experience as a sales representative is a plus
Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries preferred
Active Life & Health insurance license strongly preferred
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus
An active life insurance license is a strong advantage
Applicants without a license must be willing to obtain one
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
Ability to build trust and explain financial concepts clearly
Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset
Comfortable using Zoom, email, and basic online tools
Applicants must be authorized to work and reside in the United States
Compensation

$50,000+ at plan commission based on performance
