Civil Engineer – Land Development

We are currently seeking a motivated
Civil Engineer
to join our growing Land Development Department. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who are passionate about civil engineering and committed to building a long-term career as a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
Key Responsibilities
Perform civil engineering design and analysis for land development projects (residential, commercial, and mixed-use)
Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic studies and stormwater management design
Prepare construction plans, details, specifications, and engineering reports using AutoCAD/Civil 3D
Coordinate with project teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Support project permitting and entitlement processes
Assist with construction observation and coordination as needed
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) from an ABET-accredited program
Entry-level candidates:
Must have successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam
Mid-level candidates:
Must have recently passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering (P.E.) exam
or
demonstrate clear intent and preparation to sit for the P.E. exam in the near future
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of hydraulics and hydrology
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D (required)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
General Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong desire to grow professionally and achieve Professional Engineer licensure
PC computer literate with the ability to learn new software quickly
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
