Location & Compensation

Buffalo, NY – new facility in the Western New York Science & Technology Advanced Manufacturing Park (STAMP).

Edwards Genesee location address: 6685 Crosby Rd, Basom, NY 14013.

Salary Range: $45,000 – $87,000.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

Your Role
CNC Machinist II – responsible for advanced machining operations, mentoring others, and contributing to technical problem‐solving and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires leadership, deep technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Expertly operate and troubleshoot HMC, mill‑turn, grinder, and balancer machines across various part families.

Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, quality, and SOP compliance.

Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex machining or process issues.

Champion 6S workplace practices and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead root‑cause analysis in collaboration with engineers and team leaders when technical issues arise.

Recommend process optimizations and support pilot runs or new setups as needed.

Mentor and train junior machinists, supporting skill development and team knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

3+ years of CNC machining experience with demonstrated technical leadership.

Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and CNC programming basics.

Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting, setups, and precision adjustments.

Strong communication skills and experience in cross‑functional collaboration.

Experience with SOP production, 6S & safety activities, tool changeovers, and CMM inspection (data analysis, tool adjustment).
