
Purchasing Administrative Coordinator

Job Duties
Work with suppliers and internal staff to obtain quotes and issue purchase orders using Sage software
Prepare and process purchase orders and related documents
Maintain accurate and detailed records of purchases and vendors
Work with the Controller to ensure timely payment processing and reconcile invoices
Review, analyze, and monitor orders, deliveries
Follow up with suppliers to ensure that promised delivery dates are being met
Address and resolve any issues with orders, deliveries, and invoices
Schedule incoming and outgoing deliveries with subcontractors and equipment suppliers
Complete all recordkeeping and filing associated with small logistics company, including scheduling trucking and maintaining required PUCO / ODOT information
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, scheduling and preparing reports
Continuous development of existing QMS (Quality Management System), including following current procedures, updating existing documents, and creating new documents as needed
General Requirements
Pass pre-employment and random drug tests
Achieve acceptable scores on proficiency testing to be administered following interview
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and etiquette
Strong organizational skills, and time management
Detail oriented and analytical
Able to multi-task in a busy office environment while maintaining attention to detail
Team player
Conducts oneself in a professional manner and represents the company accordingly
Dependable
Once training is complete, the ideal candidate will require minimal supervision
Technical Requirements
Minimum of two years’ experience in similar position including purchasing and procurement
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
Educational: High school diploma required, associate’s degree preferred
Pay
18-24 USD per hour. Eligible for first wage increase at initial review at 60 days.
Work Schedule
40-45 hours per week depending on workload, Monday-Friday.
