Overview
Nova is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller to join our Finance team. This contract role processes and oversees core accounting functions including accounts receivable and payable, tax support, bank reconciliations, fixed asset and lease accounting, and financial close processes. This is a W-2 contract position to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities
Review credit card payment requests
Review purchase orders (POs) in Oracle
Prepare warranty workpapers
Perform balance sheet (BS) and profit & loss (P&L) analysis with commentary
Analyze service revenues
Conduct mid-year warranty recalculations
Support ad hoc tasks as needed
Review accrued liabilities workpapers
Review bank reconciliations
Review investment accruals
Conduct target collection reviews
Qualifications
Hands-on accounting and business experience with a proactive mindset
