
Scientist I, Molecular Biology

Key Responsibilities
Execute research experiments such as DNA vector construction, mRNA production, protein expression/purification, in vitro assays and in vivo models to evaluate efficacy of novel gene delivery technology or biotherapeutics.
The individual will work in our state-of-the-art laboratory and be responsible for experimental planning and execution, data analysis and presentation.
Qualifications
B.S. or M.S. in molecular biology, immunology, cancer biology or related field
Scientist I:12+ years of working experience in academia or industry
Expertise in molecular biology, gene delivery, immunology, and immunoassay
Hands‑on experience in molecular cloning, gene delivery using mRNA/LNP or DNA/LNP, cell culture (including primary cell lines), protein expression/purification, multi‑color flow cytometry, T cell‑based assays and immunological techniques (ICS, ELISA, Luminex, cytotoxicity, immunoblotting, etc.)
Experience in lab management will be a plus
Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and data analysis skills
Outstanding troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Highly adaptable to a fast‑paced work environment and capable of working independently as well as within project teams
