position located in Cameron, LA.
The E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) Coordinator is responsible for client oversight and coordination of electrical, instrumentation, and controls construction activities in one of the various areas of a major LNG facility located in Cameron, LA. Areas include PTM, LFM, PIS, BOP, BOG, NRU, Tanks, & Marine. He or She is responsible for ensuring that construction work is performed according to the project requirements and expectations with specific attention to safety, schedule, budget, & quality.
Responsibilities:

Manage the daily E&I construction tasks and teams for their respective area
Review all equipment and manpower employed by the Subcontractor to ensure they are adequate for available work fronts
Collaborate as a member of an IPMT (integrated project management team)
Interpret and explain technical information to other professionals
Report work progress, schedule, and other details using established project reporting tools
Review and ensure coordination is in place with subcontractor activities
Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other problems
Prior to the start of work, review IWP (individual work packages) and P6 schedules submitted by the subcontractor to ensure their correct application in the field execution
Ensure the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for all activities
Directly participate in the HSE activities at site as defined in the Site HSE plan
Support the RFI (request for information) process to help drive timely solutions
Other needs as determined by project leadership
Employee has solid line direct reporting to the E&I Construction Manager and dotted line reporting to Area Construction Manager
Qualifications:

10 or more years of electrical & instrumentation experience in industrial construction of oil & gas facilities (required)
10 or more years of supervisory experience with recent positions being at least a general foreman level (required)
Construction experience in an LNG facility (preferred but not required)
Experience working on Client side as representation in the field (preferred but not required)
Any state journeyman or master electrician license (preferred but not required)
NCCER industrial journeyman electrician, instrument fitter, or instrument technician certification (preferred but not required)
Completion of a relevant trade school program (preferred but not required)
OSHA 30 (preferred but not required)
Experience planning and executing work through the AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) process (preferred but not required)
Strong knowledge of NEC 70 and NEC 70E requirements (required)
Demonstrated technical and analytical skills (required)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills (required)
Ability to work within an IPMT team with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills (required)
Demonstrated self‑motivation and direction with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution (required)
Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (required)
Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) (required)
Valid Driver’s License with insurable driving record (required)
Physical Requirements:

Ability to see things clearly that are beyond arm’s reach (far visual acuity)
Ability to see small detail
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb 30‑foot ladders without resting
Ability to maintain balance on catwalks and narrow workspaces

Ability to reach above head while sitting or standing
Ability to reach below knees while standing
Ability to stoop or kneel
Ability to work 60 or more hours each week
Ability to work at heights a minimum of 20 feet
Ability to perform in an outdoor noisy work environment
