Job Title: Surgery Scheduler
Status: Full Time
Schedule: DAYS

Job Overview
The Surgical Services Scheduler performs the duties required to schedule patients for surgery. Experience with surgical scheduling is necessary, Cerner experience preferred.
General Responsibilities
Communicates any preparations needed to the patient and communicates the information to all areas within surgical services.
Review physician orders and submit to IR/Cath per procedure protocol.
Schedule recurring/STAT procedures.
High volume patient/physician phone interaction.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
Knowledge of PC keyboard.
Prior Radiology/ Surgery scheduling experience.
Medical Terminology required.
Minimal data entry skills required.
