The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Administrative Analyst III within Community and Neighborhood Programs. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one year.

This is a grant‑funded position. Funding is subject to ongoing grant funding and continuation of the position depends on available grant funds. Upon expiration of grant funds, employees will have rights as outlined in the “reduction in force” language in applicable contract or civil service rules.
Responsibilities
Perform administrative support work including business planning, budgeting, and fiscal analysis.
Identify, evaluate, and resolve organizational and administrative problems.
Conduct special studies and research requiring discretion in methods and resources.
Perform related work as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, economics, or a related field.
Four (4) years of experience performing administrative support duties for an agency or organization, including budget and fiscal analysis, developing programs, policies, and procedures, research, and preparing analytical reports.
Equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered.
Possession of a valid Nevada or "border state" driver's license may be required.
Desirable: Experience performing administrative support duties for a municipal government.
Desirable: Master’s degree in a related field.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range:
$73,478.75 to $112,038.75 per year.
Salary placement for non‑represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate’s qualifications as well as internal equity.
Work‑Life Balance: Four (4)-Day, 38 hour workweek.
Paid Leave and Holidays. (Refer to Leave and Holidays Policy and Family and Medical Leave policy.)
