Job Duties
Operate all equipment. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare products. Receive and process telephone orders. Clean equipment and facility daily.
Training
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions & Skills
Perform basic arithmetic quickly and accurately (may use calculator); make correct monetary change; possess verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders; demonstrate motor coordination between eyes and hands to rapidly and accurately perform precise movements; enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Work Conditions
Exposure to in‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas.
Sudden changes in work area and while outside.
Fumes from food odors.
Exposure to cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces from oven/tools up to 500°F or higher.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Communication via telephone (talk and hearing required).
Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
Lifting up to 50 pounds and carrying up to 30 pounds.
Pushing and pulling trays on dollies.
Climbing and navigating stairs or ladders.
Bending or stooping at the waist for 30‑45 seconds repeated during the day.
Crouching or squatting occasionally for stocking or cleaning low areas.
Reaching up, down, and forward, including reaching above 72”.
Performing hand tasks with hand‑eye coordination.
Additional Information – Driving
Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, making several deliveries per shift. Deliver flyers and door hangers. Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Must have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
