Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The PT Coordinator I facilitates daily operations within the Communications, Outreach, and Engagement (CORE) division. Coordinates logistics, services, and support of the division. Responsible for compliance with policies, procedures, and a variety of local, state, and federal regulations. Makes and communicates process decisions based on best practices.
Essential Job Functions
Facilitate daily operations of the Communications, Outreach, and Engagement (CORE) division. Maintain records. Assist the Business Manager with maintaining all CORE Division Financials
Maintains a current knowledge base of assigned areas and acts as a point of contact for internal and external customers
Responsible for coordinating and tracking department purchasing, requisitions, and contracts
Assists with entering and tracking division budgets
Provides event support and logistics, assisting with multiple events at one time
Provides general promotional support such as assisting with campus and community outreach, posting posters/flyers, etc
Provides overall administrative support for the Executive Director, Business Manager, and all CORE department leaders
Monitors and controls resources such as office supplies and equipment needed within the division
Takes part in special projects as necessary
Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Strong attention to accuracy and detail
Excellent knowledge of general office and software applications
Ability to prepare reports
Possesses good organizational skills
Ability to prioritize duties
High level of customer service
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to work under strict deadlines
Physical Abilities
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Work Schedule And Conditions
Equipment used includes PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment. Any specialized equipment typical to photography and videography
Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Salary
Hourly Pay Rate is $17.58 per hour.
