Job Description
Inova Health is seeking a dedicated Medication Utilization Pharmacist to join the team. This role will be full-time Monday - Friday. Sign-on Bonus & relocation assistance eligible.

Job Responsibilities
Supports optimization of medication utilization to ensure the safe, clinically effective, and cost-effective medication use and availability across the Inova Health System.
Develop clinical and operational drug shortage management strategies to ensure optimal use of available medications in collaboration with clinical and operational pharmacy teams.
Collects, analyzes, and disseminates information on medication utilization, and integrate with systems and processes including clinical, safety, prescribing, administration, procurement, and distribution systems to optimize medication use across the Inova Health System.
Serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge at the Pharmacy Warehouse and help support operations at the site.
Provides accurate, adequate, and timely drug shortage information to the professional staff and contributes to newsletters for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor degree in Pharmacy.
Experience:
Five (5) years as a clinical Pharmacist. Minimum One (1) year of experience in clinical and operational drug shortage management strategies.
Licensed Pharmacist
in the state of VA.
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
