Pay Range : $26.55 - $39.85 per hour
Essential Functions
Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
Documents patient history related to specific procedures on requisitions submitted by physicians.
Confirms patient identification through verbal confirmation and validation of proof of identity.
Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
Consults with radiologists and other physicians as necessary.
Selects and operates equipment based on procedural demands and ensures correct anatomic positioning.
Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the radiologist.
Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
Qualifications
Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency recognized by ARRT in Radiologic Technology.
Must be registry eligible and complete registration within one year of hire date.
BLS required.
