Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and hospitality-driven Wine Room Educator to deliver exceptional guest experiences through engaging wine education, personalized service, and thoughtful salesmanship. This role goes beyond traditional service—you are the storyteller of our wines, the curator of guest experiences, and a key driver of Wine Club growth and retail sales. You will guide guests through tastings, share the story behind each wine, and create a welcoming, upscale environment that reflects our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Hospitality

Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism, creating a “5-Star to 6-Star” hospitality experience

Lead engaging and educational wine tastings tailored to each guest’s knowledge level

Build genuine connections with guests to enhance their overall visit

Wine Education & Storytelling

Confidently present wines, including flavor profiles, production methods, and pairing suggestions

Educate guests in a way that is approachable, memorable, and aligned with the Twin Rocks brand

Continuously develop wine knowledge and stay informed on new releases

Sales & Wine Club Growth

Drive retail wine sales and actively promote Wine Club memberships

Recognize buying signals and confidently guide guests toward purchases

Present Wine Club benefits in a natural, conversational way

Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals

Operations & Team Support

Accurately process transactions using POS systems

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room

Support private events, group tastings, and winery experiences

Assist with opening and closing procedures

Leadership & Team Contribution

Support and guide tasting room support staff when needed

Maintain a positive, team-oriented environment

Uphold all winery standards, policies, and service expectations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, wine service, or tasting rooms preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for wine, food, and guest experience

Ability to educate and sell in a natural, non-pushy way

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

Must be at least 21 years of age

California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification

Food Handler’s Card

Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
