Job Summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities
Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer any questions.
Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders.
Maintain equipment and sterilize the procedure room.
Evaluate image quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the health‑care team.
Inspect and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report malfunctions as needed.
Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
Follow hospital safety rules, including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice.
Required Qualifications
One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
Current ARRT Certification.
Additional certifications and licenses may be required for this position.
Essential Skills

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficient in PC skills.
Physical abilities: remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.
Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel and exhibit a positive, professional attitude.
Technical skills: perform fine manipulation and operate department equipment.
Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the public, meet deadlines under pressure, and handle irregular activity schedules.
Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication.
