Job Summary
The Back Office Assistant – LVN is a licensed healthcare professional who performs non‑invasive routine technical services under the supervision of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner in the medical practice setting.

Pay Range
Minimum $29.48, Midpoint $39.04, Maximum $48.61

Position Details
This is a full‑time position that will support the SOCPA Rancho Santa Margarita office with potential to cover at other SOCPA offices as needed.

Experience

Required: Previous experience or internship in a clinic or medical practice.

Preferred: Prior experience working in a back‑office medical practice or clinic; experience working in a pediatric environment.

Education

Required: Graduate of a Licensed/Vocational Nursing Program.

Specialized Skills

Preferred: Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Licensure

Required: Basic Life Support (BLS); Licensed Vocational Nurse – CA (LVN).

Preferred: First Aide Certification.

Work Environments – Functional Demand
Light – Moderate energy level. Lift and carry 25‑35 lb; push/pull 50‑100 lb (e.g., empty bed, stretcher).

Physical Activity Requirements

Bending, carry objects, climbing, keyboard use/repetitive motion, pinching/fine motor activities, push/pull, reach forward, reach overhead, sitting, squat/kneel/crawl, standing, talk or hear, taste or smell, twisting, walking, wrist position deviation.

Physical Activity Lifting
Lifting (floor to waist level) – constant 67 % or more, frequent 36‑66 %, occasional 0‑35 %; lifting (waist level and above) – constant 67 % or more, frequent 36‑66 %, occasional 0‑35 %.

Sensory Requirements

Color discrimination, depth perception, far vision, hearing, near vision.

Environment Requirements

Airborne communicable disease, bloodborne pathogens, chemical, dust particulates, extreme noise levels, extreme temperatures, radiation, uneven surfaces or elevations.
