Overview
Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist position in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Assignment length: approximately 13 weeks, 40 hours per week (10‑hour day shifts). Agency: TNAA TotalMed Allied.

Responsibilities

Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians during minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures.

Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.

Assist in scrubbing and preparing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Monitor patients continuously during all procedures.

Apply thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to maintain safeguards for patients and operators.

Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy for accurate interpretation of examination requests and procedure planning.

Operate IV and dye injector pumps.

Maintain accurate patient records.

Use the McKesson PACS system.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience as an IR technologist.

BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification required; state licensing as required.

Vascular interventional certificate preferred.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Compensation
Pay based on 10‑hour shifts and 40‑hour work week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job ID #1413199.
