The Payment Solution Sales Team Lead reports to the PMI Healthcare Head and operates as a player/coach. This role leads a team and drives new-to-bank client acquisition while deepening wallet share across existing clients, delivering end-to-end Treasury Management and Payments solutions. It includes setting strategy, developing talent, and driving performance while maintaining a targeted personal portfolio of high-value client relationships. It also involves developing, coaching, and expanding business for an assigned geographic area, industry segment, or product line by managing the collective efforts of a team of sales professionals.
Responsibilities
Serve as a player-coach, owning a select portfolio of strategic clients while actively coaching, mentoring, and developing the broader sales team.
Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that drives PMI revenue growth across the full Treasury Management and Payments suite.
Champion end-to-end PMI selling, ensuring coordinated delivery of Treasury Management Services including Liquidity & Investments, Receivables, Payments, Commercial Cards, Merchant Services, and Trade.
Partner closely with internal relationship managers, product leaders, and senior stakeholders to deliver integrated client solutions.
Establish and monitor sales performance metrics, including pipeline health, origination activity, wins, and revenue growth.
Drive consistent adoption of sales management disciplines, CRM tools, and deal-design best practices.
Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Assist in the development and implementation of the marketing plan for treasury management products and services aligned with corporate objectives; target markets for opportunities and greater penetration including new sales, calling activity and business retention quotas.
Ensure compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures. Participate in required training and follow account opening procedures and internal suspicious activity referral processes. Engage with customers to understand their normal account activity as appropriate for this position.
Accountabilities
Decisions are made in conjunction with major corporation programs, plans or strategies; independent action is normally required with consultation from division or senior managers as appropriate.
Probable errors would have a material effect on major functions of the corporation.

Ability to build and scale complex businesses, driving sustained revenue growth and market share gains. Strong understanding of technology-enabled treasury and payments solutions and how digital capabilities enhance client outcomes and sales effectiveness. Exceptional communication, influence, and executive presence skills. Deep expertise in Treasury Management services, including liquidity and investments, receivables, payments, commercial cards, merchant services, and trade.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $170,255.00 - $200,300.00
