The Assistant Restaurant Manager at Puckett’s in the Nashville Airport plays a key leadership role in supporting daily restaurant operations inside a fast‑paced airport environment. This position is hands‑on, floor‑focused, and centered on delivering authentic Southern hospitality while ensuring smooth service, strong team performance, and consistent operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Support:
Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and shift execution.
Lead by example with a strong hospitality‑first mindset.
Help coach, train, and motivate team members.
Reinforce accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
Assist with pre‑shift meetings and team alignment.
Guest Experience:
Deliver warm, genuine Southern hospitality to every guest.
Handle guest concerns quickly and professionally.
Operations & Execution:
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Support smooth floor flow, staffing, and service execution.
Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control.
Follow all airport compliance and security requirements.
Performance & Compliance:
Assist with scheduling, labor, and shift support as needed.
Help manage waste, product handling, and upselling efforts.
Communicate operational updates and concerns to management.
Support onboarding, training, and company standards (AHA & SLA).
Ensure compliance with company, TSA, and airport regulations.
Qualifications:
1–3 years of restaurant leadership or supervisory experience (airport or high‑volume preferred).
Strong communication and team leadership skills.
Basic knowledge of POS systems and operational reporting.
Flexible availability including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must pass airport background check and obtain required security badge.
