Registered Nurse - Home Health Care
Duties:
Field Nurse
Charting/Documentation
Administer intravenous medications and fluids to patients
Monitor patients during infusion therapy and assess their response to treatment
Perform venipuncture and insert intravenous catheters
Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures and self-care techniques
Document patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Skills:
Proficient in occupational health and providing quality patient care Experience with venipuncture and IV catheter insertion
Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation
Ability to collaborate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals
Familiarity with family planning services and related procedures
Experience using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth
Competency in performing spinal taps (lumbar punctures) as needed
Strong understanding of nursing standards and best practices
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to senior care
