Position Overview
The Carpenter is responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry tasks across residential and commercial construction, renovation, and remodeling projects. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
Perform rough and finish carpentry including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and installations
Perform demolition, material handling, and site preparation
Measure, cut, and assemble materials as directed
Operate hand and power tools safely and responsibly
Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations
Coordinate with project managers and team to ensure smooth workflow
Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Follow all company safety procedures and report any hazards or issues
Identify and communicate any issues of material needs to supervisors
Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction or remodeling
Strong knowledge in drywall and tile preferred
Experience with framing, finish work, and general remodeling preferred
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
