Skilled Carpenter - $20-$28 an hour
Job Description
This position involves working on new high‑end residential homes, requiring proficiency in various forms of carpentry. The role includes finishing, framing, and a wide range of carpentry tasks. The carpenter foreman will also engage in outdoor carpentry work, focusing on facias and pergolas.
Responsibilities
Build and install wall, floor, and roof framing.
Set trusses, beams, and load‑bearing components.
Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and engineered materials.
Install sheathing (OSB, plywood) for walls, floors, and roofs.
Perform interior and exterior finish carpentry.
Hang doors, install windows, and adjust hardware.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in carpentry, framing, and finish work.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
Expertise in drywall hanging, finishing, and operation.
Experience with saw operation and nail gun usage.
Capability in tenant improvement and restoration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of carpentry experience (Finish or Rough).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
